The Yoga

I fell in love-at-first-downdog with yoga in Australia in 2007, practising Hatha and Vinyasa in Brisbane. I couldn’t believe how much better I felt, physically, mentally and spiritually! Back home in London I discovered  Astanga and studied at the Yoga Hutch in Surbiton, learning with senior teacher Sarah Vaughan (www.theyogahutch.com). Yoga quickly became a passion for me and I wanted to learn more, go deeper into the practice, and be able to share this life-changing experience with others, so I went to Bali to train as a teacher and gain, over the course of two trainings, my Yoga Alliance certification YTT500 with Santosha Yoga. I am currently training over 18 months as a Yoga Therapist with Yogacampus in London.

My aim is to empower the individual to feel better and be happier, by developing their own regular yoga practice and so having a handy ‘toolkit for life’ into which they can delve at any time!

I teach Dynamic Hatha, Viniyoga, and Astanga as well as meditation. I specialise in private students and small groups (usually artists and musicians on tour), which allows a highly individualised practice to benefit every unique student. When I am not on tour, I lead larger group workshops, retreats and 4-6 week courses in yoga and meditation as well as teaching regular classes at The Yoga Hutch. I am also a Yoga Ambassador for Sweaty Betty, and run special events with them. In this way I combine my life on the move and love of music with my passion for sharing the incredible benefits of yoga.
