Access All Tour Wellbeing
Access All Areas is my wellness mentoring program, specifically aimed at supporting touring music industry professionals in improving all areas of their health and wellbeing both on and off the road.
I work with clients in one-on-one online sessions to develop a bespoke and realistic plan to improve their overall wellbeing.
What’s it all about?
Touring presents some very particular lifestyle challenges, and it can be tough to create and keep healthy habits. Even if you’re eating reasonably well and doing your best to get enough rest, it’s common to feel jaded after a while. Getting to the gym might work for some of us on days off, but if you’re in the back of trucks and pulling cables every day, that might not be what your body needs or what you feel like doing. And how can we manage stress, and take pro-active care of our mental health, in such an unusual way of life?
These are all areas in which I have extensive experience and training in working with clients to support them in making effective changes, and there’s also a great deal more that we can do to bring about a more balanced overall lifestyle.
Our health and wellbeing is influenced by many different factors which colour our whole experience of life. Western thinking tends to reduce and compartmentalise health into ‘physical’ and ‘mental’, but we’re a lot more than brains on top of bodies.
Access All Areas is an holistic modality which, in addition to physical and mental wellbeing, considers factors such as the individual’s wider lifestyle both on and off the road, how they use their energy, their social connections, creativity, sense of fulfilment, living environment, and so on. By looking at the whole picture and identifying areas which the client feels are unsatisfactory, and the obstacles and challenges they face, we work together to investigate what changes they would like to create, and plot a chart of realistic strategies and actions to move them in their desired direction. Over a suggested four sessions, the client develops a practical ‘toolkit’ to create greater overall wellbeing in all areas of their life.
Structure and pricing
AAA begins with a complimentary 15 minute introductory call on Zoom so that we can discuss what’s going on for you, and what I can help with. This is an opportunity for us to see whether we both feel we are a good fit to work together, and there’s no need to decide on the spot – you can email me once you’ve had time to think about it.
If you decide to go ahead, I’ll send you the intake form which you fill out and return, and we schedule our first full length Zoom session.
Sessions are one hour, and although you can book individual sessions, I recommend at least four in order to make sustainable changes, monitor your progress, and reassess and adjust periodically.
Individual sessions are priced at £75 each, or you can buy a ‘four-pack’ for £250. A good option is to buy your first session, and then if you want the four pack, you can pay the balance minus the first session.
Further information
Bookings can be made a maximum of two weeks in advance.
Payment must be received in advance of the session.
Sessions are for one client at a time.
Bookings available from 1st December 2025, please get in touch using this form.
What happens in a session?
At your initial session we’ll discuss the information on your intake form, and I’ll ask you further questions so that I can get to know you and better understand what you’d like us to work on and prioritise. We’ll explore the time you have available so that we can make a realistic plan which works with your lifestyle. By the end of your session it is my intention that you have some practical tools and strategies to put into practice, and you feel confident about how to move forward with improving your wellbeing. You’ll also have some ‘homework’ (don’t worry, it’s more fun that it sounds!) to do, for us to investigate the next time we meet.
In subsequent sessions, we’ll review how your new strategies have been working out for you, discuss developments, make updates and adjustments accordingly, and explore further possibilities.
Why ‘Access All Areas’?
Real wellbeing is about taking care of all aspects of your life and making sustainable adjustments to areas which feel unsatisfying or undernourished. Often we know what we ‘should’ be doing but struggle to implement change, or our changes stick for a few weeks and then fizzle out.
Sometimes we can’t see the wood for the trees, and need a different perspective.
Frequently life is so busy that we’ve never actually sat down and taken a bird’s eye view of our whole lifestyle, and just keep white-knuckling through with a growing sense of dissatisfaction.
Enter ‘Access All Areas’ wellbeing.
Together, with the help of some self-enquiry tools, we’ll investigate what’s going on for you in each area of your life. We’ll look at what’s working, what could be better (but perhaps isn’t a priority for now), and identify the areas which would yield the greatest shift in your sense of overall wellbeing and contentment in your life.
Of course, ‘Access All Areas’ refers to the touring and entertainment industries. While this wellbeing mentoring is open to all, I specifically work with people in those industries as that is where I have spent my entire professional life. With 25 years of touring under my belt, I’m intimately familiar with the particular lifestyle and wellbeing challenges that our tribe face. In my 30s I started to realise that the way I was living was unsustainable, and gradually made changes which, over time, have evolved into a way of approaching life both on and off the road which feels deeply enjoyable, vibrant, and fulfilling. I absolutely love working in live music and intend to keep touring for decades to come. With the Access All Areas approach to my overall wellbeing and lifestyle I’m giving myself the best possible chance at the freedom to live the life I want – and I’m here to mentor anyone who’d like to do the same.
My qualifications to do this
Since 2014 I have been a qualified holistic life coach and holistic counsellor. (I trained in Australia with Inner Voyage Holistic Human Development, now Mind Body Education). Holistic coaching and counselling places a strong emphasis on empowering individuals with knowledge, understanding, skills and tools to take charge of their own wellbeing.
I have been a qualified yoga teacher since 2012, and from 2015-2017 undertook clinical training in yoga therapy at Yogacampus in London (British Council for Yoga Therapy), graduating with honours.
Yoga, despite its image in the west of being all about postures, is actually an entire systematic approach to cultivating overall wellbeing and empowering the individual with realistic strategies to implement lasting change in the areas they wish to work on. In yoga therapy we are not trying to turn people into yogis, but taking a whole-lifestyle view and addressing imbalances with practical tools, techniques and achievable changes.
In the yoga tradition, we view people as made of multiple aspects (called ‘koshas’, or sheaths). Naturally physical and mental health are extensively addressed – and in addition we consider how we use our energy; how we connect with our inner world; our sense of joy and contentment; our sense of connecting with the world around us and something deeper and more enduring. The philosophy of yoga also addresses purpose, different life stages, satisfaction, attitudes, livelihood, spirituality, and so on; and yoga therapy is the art of investigating our lives through these lenses and giving attention to the areas which need a little help, using skilful techniques. We treat the person and their life holistically – in three dimensions, as an integrated whole – rather than the more westernised one dimensional approach of treating the complaint.
In Access All Areas wellbeing, I bring these modalities together with my extensive familiarity with life on the road, to help our tribe to take charge of improving their own overall wellbeing in the challenging circumstances which our unusual way of life presents.
